watermelon technologies provides software that helps Shopify merchants collect, review, and export evidence for payment disputes. This policy explains how we process merchant and customer information when providing that service.
Information we process
We process store and account details, dispute and order records, customer contact and shipping details, transaction and fulfillment information, merchant-provided evidence, support communications, and technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.
How information is used
Information is used only to authenticate stores, synchronize disputes, prepare merchant-reviewed evidence packages, provide billing and support, prevent abuse, maintain audit records, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or use customer data for advertising.
Sharing and service providers
Data is shared only with infrastructure, email-delivery, and other service providers required to operate the application, with Shopify as part of the integration, when directed by the merchant, or when required by law. Providers are limited to the information required to perform their services.
Retention and deletion
Production customer and dispute data is retained for no longer than 365 days after it is no longer required for the service, unless a shorter merchant instruction or a legal obligation applies. Customer data-request exports expire within 30 days. Shopify privacy deletion requests are processed within the required period, and store data is removed after Shopify sends the shop-redaction event.
Security
We use HTTPS, encrypted managed storage and backups, access controls, authenticated administrator sessions, audit logs, and environment separation. No security program can eliminate every risk, but we review and improve these controls as the service changes.
Your privacy choices
Customers should normally submit access or deletion requests to the Shopify merchant with whom they interacted. Merchants and customers may also contact saad2582@gmail.com. We may verify the requester’s authority before disclosing or deleting information.
